Saint Valentine of Terni and his disciples. The Early Medieval acta of either Saint Valentine were expounded briefly in Legenda Aurea.[15] According to that version, St Valentine was persecuted as a Christian and interrogated by Roman Emperor Claudius II in person. Claudius was impressed by Valentine and had a discussion with him, attempting to get him to convert to Roman paganism in order to save his life. Valentine refused and tried to convert Claudius to Christianity instead. Because of this, he was executed. Before his execution, he is reported to have performed a miracle by healing the blind daughter of his jailer.

Legends of the Saints of “Valentine”:

Since Legenda Aurea still provided no connections whatsoever with sentimental love, appropriate lore has been embroidered in modern times to portray Valentine as a priest who refused an unattested law attributed to Roman Emperor Claudius II, allegedly ordering that young men remain single. The Emperor supposedly did this to grow his army, believing that married men did not make for good soldiers. The priest Valentine, however, secretly performed marriage ceremonies for young men. When Claudius found out about this, he had Valentine arrested and thrown in jail.

There is an additional modern embellishment to The Golden Legend, provided by American Greetings to History.com, and widely repeated despite having no historical basis whatsoever. On the evening before Valentine was to be executed, he would have written the first “valentine” card himself, addressed to a young girl variously identified as his beloved,[16] as the jailer’s daughter whom he had befriended and healed,[17] or both. It was a note that read “From your Valentine.”[16](en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valentine’s_Day)

About the Art:
Even though we still enjoy this artwork, it originates from another era in time for African-American history. Notice the skin colors & watermelon
sterotype that are rare in this era of African-American art.

Scott on The Writings of African Americans

by Tres Mali Scott
Created on: June 21, 2011

All around the world young people are at risk of sexual experimentation. Each country has a different policy on Family Planning. Sexual experimentation can lead to unwanted pregnancies, not all countries had abortion or adoption. Some places these children could be sold into forms of slavery and human trafficking as the Catholic Church has reported.

Some Catholic organizations have also held fundraisers and walks to assist those that escape these situations.

Education about how the human body reproduces, what can happen as a result of sexual experimentation, i.e., sexually transmitted diseases, skin diseases from excessive contact with contaminated skin, unwanted pregnancies, or even slander can be used as a way of positively involving young people in family planning.

The youth now are more mature, have more knowledge due to the Internet and other media access, and want people to explain issues and concepts that most do not want to talk about.

An example is when “sex education” entered the school system. Parents did not want to discuss this so local governments put it in the school’s curriculum. These youth will one day become adults. With education and support, “responsible adults” (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Tmscott2#Conclusion [2007]).

International Programs and Polices for Family Planning:

♦China – One-Child Policy

♦Germany – German Foundation for World Population (DSW)

♦Hong Kong – Two-Child Policy

♦Hong Kong – Family Planning Association of Hong Kong

♦India – Family Planning Association of India

♦Pakistan – 1994 International Conference on Population and Development in Cairo Pledge for universal access

♦United States – Title X of the Public Health Service Act

♦United States – Planned Parenthood (USA)

♦United States – National Alliance for Optional Parenthood (USA)

♦United Kingdom – British Pregnancy Advisory Service

♦United Kingdom – Family Planning Association (UK)

In conclusion, there are offices all around the world and in the United States the public school system teaches about human reproduction, which is seen as an introduction to family planning for young people. Understanding how the human body works, what can happen, and how to get treatment has been seen as a way to involve young people in family planning and reduce the negative effects of sexual experimentation.

A government and how it runs a country varies. The role the government plays in promoting an informed choice for a family size for any type of government starts with education on the subject. An informed choice, sounds like no choice, “this is how many children we would like to limit you to.” Countries like China have a “One-Child Policy” that is enforced through violence, forced abortions and forced sterilization. This policy also sounds like a form of genocide.

Hong Kong’s “Two is Enough” campaign, Two-Child Policy, used educational means to reduce the rapidly rising population through reducing the general birth rate. In the United States the family planning program Planned Parenthood and is funded by Title X of the Public Health Service Act. This program uses education, medical exams, disease testing, prevention and management of sexually transmitted infections, pre-conception counseling and management, and infertility management. The family planning services, similar to Hong Kong’s numbered campaign, is defined as, “educational, comprehensive medical or social activities which enable individuals, including minors, to determine freely the number and spacing of their children and to select the means by which this may be achieved” (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Family_planning).

Governments that are governed by the people have more freedom, education, resources available to the general public, and seem to make better decisions. These governments are usually constitutional, democratic, and capitalistic. The general population also contributes to the financial state of the government through fair taxation. So the programs that are promoted, literally come from the general population itself. In this type of situation, a persons education and financial situation would play a major role in family planning, timing of pregnancy or spacing children.

The Responsibility to Protect (RtoP or R2P): A rule or belief governing behavior or a standard of supreme, independent authority over a geographic area, not a special right, advantage, or immunity granted or aviable only to one person or group of people. R2P prevents or halts:

◊Genocide,

◊War crimes,

◊Crimes against humanity, and

◊Ethnic cleansing.

Referring to mass atrocities. This concept can also be seen as reasons for education on family planning, the “Responsible to Protect” the lives of children born into a country. Literally R2P is used when, “A state (country) has the responsibility to protect its population, if unable, the International Community has responsibility to assist the state (country) by building its capacity (http://tmscconsultingsvcsllc.wordpress.com/2011/04/1 9/international-world-management-leadership-tmsc-eme rgency-crisis- forcasting-table/).

In conclusion, education and funding are effective in promoting family planning and government intervention, as seen through the “Two is Enough” campaign in Hong Kong, and the Planned Parenthood program in the United States.

What is a Genome? by Tres Mali Scott & TMSC Consulting Services, LLC Psychic Nosology Division, Under Paranormal Psychiatry
A genome is:
haploid set of chromosomes of an organism, or
complete set of genetic material of an organism, or
all of the biological information needed to build and maintain a living example of that organism.
Genome is encoded, deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA). Divided into genes, the genes attach to the genome, they switch on gene expression.
The encoded DNA chain is make up of four chemical basis and the sugar 2′-dexoxyribose. The four chemical basis of DNA are:
acdenine (A) & guanine (G) called purines and
cytosine (C) & thymine (T) called pyrimidines

Scott on The Writings of African Americans

Raphael Lemkin (1900-1959) coined the term from Greek geno, meaning tribe and Latin cide, meaning killing. Genocide is an International Legal Term from the 1948 Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of Genocide.

Genocide is the deliberate and systematic killing or destruction, in whole or in part, of an ethnic, racial, religious, or national group. Genocide decribes violent crimes commited against groups with the intent to destroy, kill, or remove the existence of the group.

The Groups are defined as:

National Group-identity is defined by a common country of nationality or national origin.

Ethnic Group-identity is defined by common cultural traditions, language or heritage.

Racial Group-identity defined by physical characteristics.

Religious Group-identity is defined by common religious creeds, beliefs, doctrines, practices, or rituals.
